We're looking for people with experience making professional quality fonts to donate a little time and talent for a good cause. Please read the following considerations and welcome aboard.
A sarcastic font is simply a standard font angled to the left the same amount as the italic style of the same font is angled to the right. It's nothing more complicated than that, but the kerning must be reworked to account for the angle. Also it needs to look good at as small as 8 points, bolded and with and without anti-aliasing.
To start we're looking for a more solid rendition of Arial. Then on to the most common fonts, Times New Roman, Tahoma, Courier, Helvetica, Verdana, Georgia, and Trebuchet. After that please go to town on whatever suits your fancy.
Open Type is preferred, but beggars can't be choosers. TrueType and PostScript would be welcomed too.
Because some applications that would use these fonts cannot natively handle font styles other than bold or italic please create a separate font family appending "Sarcastic" to the original font family name.
Please remember that copyrights are held by either AGFA Monotype or Adobe for these fonts. This is no way meant to infringe upon these copyrights and are intended as parody.
You can e-mail completed fonts to sarcastic@glennmcanally.com. More than the fonts themselves we're looking for knowledgeable suggestions for how to improve the movement, the site and the font style.

This is my first rendition of a Sarcastic font. It's rough, but we'll soon find a new recruit to do a cleaner job.
